Diaper Cakes you WANT to Eat!

So here they are! My latest project! I have to admit they aren't to shabby (if I do say so myself!). My first two diaper cakes! Both are made with really nice ribbon and usable Pampers Swaddlers diapers size one (that's a mouthful)! I had a blast making them!
I didn't on these two, but I am going to make the bows actual hair clips that you can take on and off and use them for your baby! Also, I have learned how to make flowers out of onesies and baby socks and stuff so I am going to make a topper bouquet with them on my next one! Anyway, let me know what you think : )

My flower headbands grow naturally!

These are a few things I've been working on recently. These are my first and trial run, but I think they are pretty darn cute!
This one and the one below are headbands. The pink one has glitter and jewels on the flower and band along with a button center : )
This one has hand embellished writing and doodles along the flower petals : )
The rest are hair clips...
This is a bow I made from wired ribbon.
So, I've found something that I truly love doing. Crafts! Now if I could only figure out how to make money from it!

I am so smart...S-M-R-T!!!!

Well, my dad finally got it! He waited a year and a half and it finally came : ) The SMART Car! It's so stinking cute and so incredibly small. Yet somehow this two seater car is roomy! I don't think he knows yet whether or not he is going to keep it or sell it and make some profit! Either way it was a smart buy...haha
I told my dad that I thought it looked like a little bumble bee. I think that is what the license plate is going to say, either that or BZZZZZ : )
This car really is smart...it tells you when to shift up and down and it gets 48 miles to the gallon! It has it's own car tire pump too!
I think it's pretty dang cute! I want one!

SiLvEr DoLlAr CiTy!

I have an AMAZING husband...as ANOTHER part of my birthday present, he arranged for my parents to watch Mikkelle all day so that we could go to the local theme park Silver Dollar City. It was a blast! It actually was raining a little for the first part of the day so the rides were closed due to lightning, but that soon passed and we had a ton of fun hopping rides and walking around the City. There are all these really cute shops you can go in like a glass blowing shop, a blacksmith shop, a honey shop where they have all these amazing flavors of honey, they have all this yummy old fashioned southern goodies and there is always something to do!
Kelby and I played a few games and took a chance at a shooting game. Kelby Kicked my butt.
We also went to see a Magic show and it was a blast! There were a few tricks in there that had us stumped! And at the very end it "snowed" bubbles!
Funnel Cakes are a huge thing here. And they are delicious! Kelby and I shared a powder sugar covered funnel cake and it was amazing...yum yum yummy!
We found a funny little hat shop and took a picture. We were going to get a caricature done of the both of us but the rain had ruined the poor guys papers so he was closed for the day!
They had this cool pottery shop as well and it was cool all the weird stuff they had...this was the weirdest of them all but I can't tell which face is weirder..Kelby's or the Pots?

While it was raining Kelby and I went to watch a show to find shelter and pass some time together where it was dry...it was a Circus on Ice show. There was this married couple who did all this cool swinging from drapes. It was awesome. There were also a few people who did all this crazy skating on ice skate stilts. It was crazy! All in all it was an amazing day!

My BIG Present!

Kelby bought me a brand new SEWING MACHINE! And a completely adorable craft bag to go with it! And I'm already getting my sewing on!
I took an old pattern dress modified the size and style and made my own dress from it! My first clothing experience in sewing! I was pretty proud of myself...I'm not quite done yet...I still have buttons to add but not too shabby if I do say so myself~

The Feast and Fun have BEGUN!

Kelby took me out to Rodizio's for my birthday dinner! It's a lot like Tucano's in Utah for anyone who has been and is an AMAZING Brazilian Grill! YUM!
Kelby decided that he wanted a little lobster and I think the waiter thought he was a little coo coo cause he was playing with it when he walked up. That's my Hubby!!!
There was a huge salad and sushi bar and everything was delicious! The even had Guardana which is Kelby's favorite Portuguese drink and he had about 3 cans of it! haha~ I think it's addiction. It was really funny though because the waiter asked us if we wanted anything to drink (as in alcohol) and we said no and I couldn't anyway because I wasn't 21 yet and he offered me a drink ANYWAY! Kelby and I were like...uh... no thanks. (I think he thought we were a bunch of weirdos for not accepting alcohol).

And then there were the deserts....

Kelby ordered this New York style cheesecake which was delicious, but mine was a strawberry cream pie...and it was AMAZING! I haven't had a pie that good (or that fattening) in a looong time. Can I have another one please?

After dinner Kelby took me to Bass Pro, it's the biggest sporting goods center in the U.S. and there are all sort of things to do and see and buy... haha. It was a blast! The entrance says Welcome Fisherman, Hunters and other Liars, because we all know how they boast... "I caught a fish thiiiiis biiiig!"

Oh the hats! I actually fell in love with this hat and bought it for our trip to California to wear to the beach!
No we didn't buy this one. I think Kelby was even shocked at how feminine he looks in this picture!
Me spanking a bear...
...and Kelby hugging one : )
There were really cool turtles just swimming around everywhere...you aren't suppose to touch them...but Kelby never listens. Some of them were huge! All in all the date was amazing and baby free! My parents watched Mikkelle so Kelby and I got a chance to spend some time alone together. It was amazing : )

Thanks for reading and I hope it wasn't too much of a stinker!!!!

I woke up one morning, and what did I see?

Clue #1 Message in a bottle: I woke up last Thursday to a sweet surprise! Kelby had left me a message in a bottle! It read:
Amber-Rose,
I need your help! I am in need of something from you! But the only way I can tell you is if you find the clues that will help you decipher my code! Hint #1 What covered place held the three stacked sweetness during our celebration signifying our eternal union?
Hmmm.....
THE GAZEBO!
It had our cake in it at the reception!

In the center of the Gazebo under a rock, I found Clue #2 it read:

My Dearest Love,

I hope you noticed the birds singing and the wind rustling as you walked here... Hint #2 Because all you need is to walk 3 magical miles!!! (My dad has convinced us that if you run 3 miles a day you will get in shape...it worked for him...so hopefully it will work for us)....Where does this bring us to?

THE TREADMILL!

Attached to the movie stand next to the treadmills was Clue #3 and it read:

My most Gorgeous Wife,

Your journey is going well and you make me so proud!!! Just know that each WILD thing you do makes me smile real big!

Hint #3 Translate...as you can see below it was jibberish! I had to go to the computer...figure out which weird font he used and then type out every letter and symbol in caps and lowercase to find the right ones! It took awhile (and I swear I don't know what he means by wild....) but I finally figured it out....

UNDER MIKKELLE'S BED!!!

Sure enough, under Mikkelle's Bed there was a note.... Clue #4 and it read:
My Love,
You are amazing! Hint #4 Where we watch and look we see
What the doo doo? Hahaha...this one took me a minute... DUH!!!
THE T.V.!
The fifth and final clue was on the T.V. and it read:
My Dearest Love and Craziest Partner in Crime,
I need your help this Friday evening at 4:00 to come devour the wild beasts of the Amazon at Rodizio's and hunt in the vast Jungle of Bass Pro. Can you help me?
-Your Lover
The Hunt was over! But the feast and fun had just begun!
